Our editors swear by Vitamix blenders, like the professional-grade 5200, for a reason: Throughout years of rigorous testing against well-rated competitors, they’ve consistently come out on top. No other blender is quite as adept at making silky smooth soups, nut butters, smoothies, and just about anything else you could think to blend.
The only thing we don't love about Vitamix blenders and other accessories? The price. These things are expensive, but Prime Day offers an excellent opportunity to buy the same blenders and immersion blenders the pros use at a fraction of their regular price. So if you've had your eye on something for a while, now is the time to jump on that wishlist item.
Many Vitamix models are already on sale, but we expect even more blender deals to go live throughout the Amazon Prime Day sale event, so make sure to check back if the model you have your eyes on isn’t listed quite yet. And if you’re in the market for some other kitchen upgrades, we’ve also curated top kitchen deals on cookware, gadgets, espresso machines, air fryers, Yeti, Le Creuset, and items under $25. If you're curious what BA staffers are adding to their own carts, we've got a story about that too.
The best Vitamix blender deals
The 5200 has been our all-time favorite Vitamix blender here at BA for years now for its ideal mix of simplicity and power. With its streamlined interface containing an on/off switch, a variable speed control dial, and a pulse function, it’s intuitive to use—and its powerful motor and stainless steel blades will get just about any job you ask of it done effectively and efficiently.
The E310 Explorian is a good budget option and the most affordable professional-grade blender Vitamix offers. While it features the same 2-horsepower motor and speed options as the 5200, it’s smaller and has a shorter base—you might consider it if you’re working with a smaller kitchen space or are looking to stash it under your overhead cabinets when it’s not in use. We found deals on both new and refurbished models, both of which we’ve listed below.
In the Ascent series, Vitamix gets techy. The A2300 is the most basic of the Ascent models, which also include the A3500 and the A3300. Users will appreciate this blender’s sleek, modern design in addition to its smart features, which include variable speed control, a pulse function, a digital timer, and built-in wireless connectivity. It can also work with a variety of Vitamix’s self-detect containers and bowl attachments. Plus, think of how luxe it’ll look on your countertop.
The A3300 is a lot like the A2500 but even more high-tech, with features like a touchscreen control panel that you can easily wipe clean and a programmable timer. Just set the timer to the length of your blend, and the machine will turn itself off once it’s finished. If you want to splash out on a super sleek Vitamix, you can purchase the A3300 for 21% off its normal price.
The A3500 is if you want a top-of-the-line piece of machinery with all the bells and whistles. We’re talking about a digital touchscreen interface with a programmable timer and pre-sets to make smoothies, hot soups, dips and spreads, and frozen desserts. Plus you get the built in wireless connectivity all the models in the Ascent Series have. This is one of the most techy blenders Vitamix sells, so it costs a pretty penny—but this right now, you can get it for $100 less that it normally costs.
The Professional Series 750 is, like the 5200, part of Vitamix’s Legacy line. However, it’s a slightly upgraded version of the classic blender. Its motor has the same horsepower as the 5200 as well as the same 10 variable speeds. But the 750 has preset blending features like a special setting for soups versus smoothies. It also has a wider but shorter 64-ounce container, so this is a good option if the space between your cabinets and counter doesn’t allow for the taller 5200.
The Vitamix Propel Series combines the analog functionality of the Legacy series with some of the advanced presets you might find with the Ascent series. With the Propel, you can make smoothies, hot soups, and frozen desserts at the twist of a knob and also self clean—all within the stout 48-ounce container.
The Vitamix Propel 750 is almost exactly the same as the Professional Series 750: Both have the same horsepower, same number of blending speeds, and same number of presets, the only difference being that the Propel trades the Professional’s purée setting for dips/spreads. If you’ve narrowed your selection down to one of these two, we’d recommend you just snag whichever is cheaper at your time of purchase. Right now that’s the Propel, which is marked down from $630 to $580 at the time of writing.
The best Vitamix tool and accessory deals
If you're tired of dealing with a messy, smelly countertop compost bin, know that there is a better way. Vitamix's compact food recycler system dehydrates and breaks down your food scraps, which eliminates odors and helps keep your home compost more manageable. Normally $400, it's currently on sale for over 50% off.
Okay, so maybe you don’t have the storage space for a Vitamix blender, even with that 64-ounce low-profile container, but you still want to get your emulsifying on. If that’s the case, opt for an immersion blender instead—a stick-like gadget that can do a lot of the same things as a blender, but with a more compact profile that’s easier to store. Lucky for you, Vitamix’s taking 15% off their stainless steel model this Prime Day.
A2300 SmartPrep Kitchen System
If you’ve already got the A2300 blender in your cart and want to get more bang for your buck, then consider buying one of Vitamix’s SmartPrep Kitchen Systems to turn your kitchen appliance into a workhorse. These are bundles that include additional kitchen tools compatible with your specific Vitamix model. This SmartPrep includes an additional container for batch soup or smoothie-making as well as a food processor attachment.
